        In a photo-Fascist state
               it is easy
                                 to wa(i)ve the wheeler-deels,
            to miss the minutiae    -
                                         so that as the minutes  tick  by(e),
          Fascists
  become evil- hardened
   like cacti in a des(s)ert










       sHORT  fLUSH  iN A fLASH mACHINE



 
   Although the train
              could do little more than bumblescrape
                                                                                       thro'  TheBadlands,
                                      i still felt        duty-bound
                                                       to stumble 
     into its dourConvenience,
                                                           where there were two  pressable  buttons :
                                                                                                               (1)  Short-flush
                                                                                                               (2)  Ejector-seat
                     
           Presuming          that they 
                                                  were  takin'-the-piss,
                                                                                                   i pressed the second button,
                                                               whereupon                -    red-faced    and      wan   -
                                                                                                                           i flew  
                                                                                                     to my humblest  destination,
                                                                      
                                                                                                           lookin' down 
                                                                  
                                      on  the replacement bus-service    
       
                                                                                                    with  a  countryman's   cowl      .
