                                           Re:  The  R Kid-ometer Crisis 

Dear colleague
We wonder whether you might help us in solving the ongoing
R Kid-ometer Crisis.
As you might imagine, the  R Kid-ometer  measures both
the quality and quantity of all the  erstwhile  'R Kids'  who have ever appeared
in   Coronation Street,  like for example :
      R Ken ;     R Bet     ;   R Hilda ;       etc   ..   etc
But now (it seems) all the  R kid-ometers  have disappeared  seemingly ..
Apparently  nobody knows where these instruments are  (so they say!) 
Which leaves all us erstwhile Corrie  fans a tad in the lurch ,  so to speak .
What ? are we to do
Please help us in our hour of need if you know anything at all whatsoever
about this strange mystery  or can help us in any way at all   !?
