Now this is a story about Kevin Duffer
Lived with his sisters   lived with his mother.
Hayley and Polly,   they'll miss their brother
But not as much as Jean,  Kevin's mother.
         Education will save the nation

The Duffers live in a council flat
As high as a kite  with a welcome mat.
You can smell the gas when the wind blows past
You can smell the sewers   but life's like that.
         Education will save the nation
         Elevation will save your bacon
Rat's in the kitchen on a Friday night
Dad's come home  and he's looking for a fight.
Hayley's in the window when she sees a light :
Kevin passing by on his maiden flight.
Kevin sitting Sats  when he explodes
Full of lighter fluid from head to toes.
Polly sitting at the back not exposed
Saturates her brother with the fire hose.
        Education will save the nation
        Saturation will save your bacon

Hayley's wagging school  and almost daily
Disaster's in the air for the Duffer ladies.
